About the artist: Designing glass has been Edyta Baranska's passion for more than 20 years. She had studied at the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts. Her first creations were collections of vases, cake plates, and candle sticks, which received many awards including ELLE Decoration's PRO DECO award. Her plates are now also part of the permanent exhibition at the National Museum in Warsaw. Today, she uses art glass primarily to create lighting fixture designs, including lamps and chandeliers for hotels, and furniture such as coffee tables and mirrors. Her designs receive so much recognition at exhibitions held in such places as Milan, London, New York, and Dubai. She has received many rewards including: the All on Design award, the London Surface Design Show award, and the Milan Design Selection 2019 and 2020 Archiproducts award. She strive to combine the unique beauty of art glass with the utility of the material in everyday contexts.
